IIT Kharagpur Annual Festival Kshitij: KTJ-2022 Now With New Energy Among You, Registration Free

 Kshitij or KTJ, as it is famously known, is an annual techno-management fest of IIT Kharagpur. It is one of Asia’s largest of its kind. Since its inception in 2004, it has been going from strength to strength, celebrating the spirit of science and technology, and congregating students all over India to showcase their scientific and managerial dexterity.

We organize a plethora of events ranging from our regional initiative- Kascade, Guest Lectures by famous personalities, Tech-Summits, Workshops, various competitions, Industrial Visits, Mega Shows and many more. We have been creating significant marks by our work. Kshitij official website is the largest student-run website which receives nearly 12 Million clicks in its yearly release which is testimony to the amount of impact we are creating.

Kshitij is known to provide an assorted mix of a galaxy of events with the synchronized conduction of workshops, technical exhibitions, and guest lectures by people of the utmost stature in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship. Events spread across from technology to management provides students with the opportunity to gauge their strengths and aim higher than ever before. From applying their technical know-how to presenting their ideas in front of potential investors, Kshitij has been challenging students to come up with something unique, which they have successfully done year after year.

In the last year’s edition, for the first time Kshitij was conducted in a full-fledged online mode. Contrary to the expectations, it was an absolute hit. It included Guest lectures by famous personalities like Prateek Gandhi and YagnaswamiSundaraRajan, Megashows, workshops by Tata Projects, International Standard Robotic Exhibition and various competitions conducted for the students to showcase their talent and gain new experiences.

The previous year, Kshitij encountered participation of 65,000 people and gave away a total prize money of 45 lakhs. We have also had a lot of the latest developments in technologies from all over the world on exhibition.

Kshitij has secured patronages from UNESCO, SAYEN, CEE, MAKE IN INDIA, etc.

All this was made possible by the diligent work by our seniors, sponsors and generous contribution by our inspiring alumni.

This year too, the 19th edition of Kshitij “KTJ 2022”, since the pandemic is still continuing, will be conducted online.

So, the 19th edition of Kshitij will be conducted entirely on an online platform. We have packed it with exciting competitions, events, guest lectures, exhibitions, and much more. The registration is entirely free of cost.

In this age of technology, a pandemic cannot come in the way of learning. Kshitij will be conducting a myriad of online events on a monthly basis, making sure its student community is learning and growing continuously. These events can be designed depending on the suggestions and requirements of the company.

Interactive and informative workshops by renowned experts and professionals have provided invaluable experience and expertise to students. Conducting these workshops online will make it tremendously easier for students and professionals to interact with each other. Workshops will be conducted on a monthly basis.

Industrial Visit 2020-21 -By TATA Projects

The iconic Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project (MTHL), a 22 k.m. long sea bridge project that provides a critical link between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. TATA Projects Ltd. provided a virtual tour of this project covering various important aspects like key engineering features, project implementation methodology, construction methodology, the innovations involved, and every bit of essence of engineering work through a virtual tour of the construction activities at the project locations.

VIRTUAL EXHIBITIONS

For the first time, due to the pandemic, Kshitij 2021 conducted virtual exhibitions.

By seeing movies like Iron man and Star wars, humans are making moves to create floating, animated images that you can actually interact with as Hologram.Here in Kshitij with full of excitement we exhibited 3D Hologram technology to keep closing the 2D to 3D interaction between humans.other exhibitions were bionic bird,brain computing Interface,Sirena Technologies

Kshitj 2020 had its bowl full to the brim with jaw dropping moments, one among them was stand-up night. The top notch comedians Mr. Sumit Anand and Mr. Kumar Varun brought out hilarious and spectacular humour to cherish through their witticism. Those moments are deep rooted into the bones of the audience that creates nostalgia. The roaring laughter of the frame-ftng audience still echoes in the ears.
