Blaze began with limited resources and a small group of passionate students. Over the years, the event expanded in stature and participation, with numerous colleges from across India now competing in various sports categories.
The organising committee noted that the festival grounds have witnessed everything from memorable victories to close contests, making Blaze a celebration of perseverance, unity and excellence within the student community.
Key Milestones and Notable Appearance
Over time, Blaze has garnered significant visibility and media recognition. One of its most memorable milestones was the presence of Hardik Pandya, Vice-Captain of the Indian Cricket Team and World Cup champion, who interacted with the participants.
Organisers shared that Pandya’s message on discipline, resilience and commitment left a deep impact on student-athletes and volunteers alike.
Sportsmanship Above All
While Blaze features high-level competition across multiple sports, organisers emphasise that the festival’s true strength lies in its sportsmanship. Rival teams shaking hands after tough matches, players supporting one another and the spirit of healthy competition have become the hallmark of Blaze.
The event team told Sachi Shiksha, “The success of Blaze is not measured by medals or points, but by the determination of athletes to push their limits.”
A Tradition That Continues to Grow

The event concluded on a high note, with organisers expressing confidence that Blaze will continue to grow in scale and impact in the coming years.
