Experiences of the Devotees Blessings of Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj

She Went to the Abode of Truth Straight Away

Shri Harnam Das s/o Sh. Daulat Ram from village Kariwala district Sirsa describes the blessings of Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj on his late ( Resident of the Abode of Truth ) aunt Prakash Devi wife of late ( Resident of the Abode of Truth ) Suba Ram as follows:-

Both my aunt Prakash Devi and uncle Suba Ram had strong faith in Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. Both used to render humanitarian service in Dera Sacha Sauda. When Prakash Devi would go to serve in the spiritual court, she used to keep black salt powder and black pepper wrapped in paper in the edge of her stola. When Shahenshah Ji used to eat radish etc., she would put the salt and pepper tied in her stola in front of Shahenshah Ji. She would request to Revered Sai Ji to take this salt and pepper. She would derive happiness by extending such selfless services.

Around 1956, according to the law of the Supreme Master, her last time drew near. She had no children. She had a slight fever for a few days. She used to talk about the Spiritual Master all the time. She could not feel attached with any non-devotee person. If any devotee or volunteer of the spiritual court went to her house, she would not let him go without listening to the glory of the Spiritual Master. She would serve a lot of tea, bread and water. One night she told her husband Suba Ram that I am suffering from fever, bring me water from the spiritual court. Suba Ram said that it is night time and the doors of the spiritual court are closed. Where can I get water from? She insisted on bringing water from the spiritual court now. Suba Ram shared the same thing with the devotee living in his neighborhood.

Both thought among themselves that they would bring water from the nearby temple and would tell her that this is the water of the spiritual court. When he reached home with water from the temple, Prakash Devi said that this is not the water of the spiritual court. I don’t drink this water; you cheat me. You didn’t even go to the spiritual court. Go to the royal court, bring water from there. He told Prakash Devi that the gates of the court are closed; what can we do? She said, Sai Ji (Revered Shah Mastana Ji) is standing near the neem trees, go there and you will get water.

Then both of them went to Shah Mastana Ji Dham. At that time the Revered Sai Ji was standing near the neem trees. Suba Ram bowed down to Shahenshah Ji and raised the holy slogan “Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra.” He said, Sai Ji! There is a request to Your kind honour. At this, the omniscient & omnipresent Benevolent Benefactor stated – Your request is not accepted. We have to take your wife. So Suba Ram filled water from the tank outside and brought it home. Prakash Devi drank that water. That day at three o’clock in the morning she said to Suba Ram, Open the door, the Revered Sai Ji has come. Suba Ram said in anger that the Revered Sai Ji does not grace with His vision there in the royal court, from where did the Revered Sai Ji come to your home here on the dunes?

Suddenly there was a sound from the door and the door opened automatically. Suba Ram also saw when the door was opened, but he could not have the vision of the Revered Sai Ji. However, Prakash Devi was graced with the vision of the Revered Sai Ji. The Revered Sai Ji stated to her, Dear Son! We will pick you up at eight o’clock.

She told the same thing to Suba Ram at once. But Suba Ram did not believe this to be true, because she had neither any disease nor any problem. In the morning Suba Ram made devotee volunteer Mata Rakkhi sit near Prakash Devi, as she did not talk to any non-devotee person, not even her family members who were non-devotee. She told Mata Rakkhi that my accounts are being settled. I am leaving for the Abode of Truth. I have to leave at eight o’clock. While talking, at exactly eight o’clock she left for the Abode of Truth raising the holy slogan “Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra.”

On that day, when the dead body of Mata Prakash Devi was taken to the cremation ground, all her relatives and the spiritual followers from Sirsa city went to the cremation ground raising the holy slogan “Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra.” Then on the fifth day, Naamcharcha (Spiritual Assembly) was organized with much fanfare. After taking holy permission from the Revered Sai Ji, devotee Suba Ram threw her flowers (bones/remnants) in the river Beas.

When Suba Ram came to Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa after throwing his wife’s flowers (bones) in the river, at that time the Revered Sai Ji was getting the volunteers to dig soil behind the building of Sachkhand Hall. Suba Ram raised the holy slogan while saluting the Revered Sai Ji. The Revered Sai Ji stated, Suba Ram! Your wife had immense love & devotion towards the Supreme Master she had gone to the Abode of Truth straight away.

Then the Revered Sai Ji instructed all the spiritual followers, ‘Whenever any devotee leaves for the Abode of Truth, his relatives should not mourn or cry. Rather holy slogan of the Spiritual Master should be raised, there should be celebration that the living being went to the Real Abode while getting freedom from the bondages of 84 lakh births & deaths.
