Method of Making Kadha for Dengue Patients (herbal kadha)

herbal kadha Ingredients Required:

  • 5–6 basil leaves,
  • 5–6 papaya leaves (washed and chopped),
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder,
  • 1 inch grated ginger,
  • 1 teaspoon Giloy powder or fresh Giloy (1–2 inches),
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon honey (to taste),
  • and 2–3 cups of water.

Boil 2–3 cups of water over medium heat. Add basil leaves, papaya leaves, ginger, turmeric, and Giloy. Let the mixture boil until the water reduces by half. Add black pepper and simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Turn off the heat, strain the Kadha, and add honey to taste. Drink it while it is still warm.

How to Consume:

Consume this Kadha once or twice a day. Avoid drinking it too hot or too cold; lukewarm Kadha is most beneficial.
