Table of Contents

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams fenugreek seeds
  • 1 cup milk
  • 50 grams almonds
  • 50 grams edible gum
  • 200 grams jaggery
  • 100 grams wheat flour
  • 50 grams coconut powder
  • 50 grams melon seeds
  • 50 grams figs
  • 100 grams desi ghee
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder

Method of Preparation:

Clean the fenugreek seeds and grind them finely in a mixer. Warm the milk and soak the ground fenugreek seeds in it for one to one and a half hours. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the almonds, melon seeds, and edible gum one by one. Set them aside. Coarsely grind the fried almonds, melon seeds, gum, and figs.

In 2 tablespoons of ghee, add the soaked fenugreek mixture and fry well for about 20 minutes, or until the ghee separates. In another pan, add the remaining ghee and sauté the wheat flour over low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the coconut powder and fry until it turns golden brown.

Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan, add the mashed jaggery, and allow it to melt. Turn off the heat and add all the prepared ingredients. Mix well and add the black pepper powder.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly for about 10 minutes, then shape it into small laddoos.
