National Social Summit 2026 Successfully Concludes at IIT Roorkee
The National Service Scheme (NSS), IIT Roorkee successfully concluded the National Social Summit 2026 on February 14–15, marking the 10th edition of its flagship social impact conclave. The two-day event brought together students, young leaders, and changemakers from across the country.

Changethon and Action Plan Competition Highlight the Summit
According to organisers, the summit featured a series of thoughtfully curated competitions and experiential events.
A major highlight was the Changethon, where participants developed innovative solutions to real-world social issues. This was complemented by the Action Plan Competition, which encouraged teams to present structured and sustainable frameworks for long-term societal development.
Interactive Events Boost Engagement
The summit also included a social simulation game, an Esports Tournament, and an IPL Auction Simulation, all designed to enhance analytical thinking, teamwork, and strategic decision-making among participants.
Event representatives told Sachi Shiksha that the enthusiastic participation reflected the growing commitment of youth toward constructive social transformation.
Cultural Evening Marks Grand Finale
The summit concluded with a vibrant cultural evening. Comic poet Krishna Shukla delivered a performance blending humour with social commentary, followed by a stand-up act by Vivek Samtani, bringing the conclave to a lively close.
Strengthening Youth as Catalysts of Change
Event representatives told Sachi Shiksha that the successful execution of the summit reaffirmed its vision of empowering youth as catalysts of social change and strengthening the bridge between ideas and implementation.
