Project Parivartan: Empowering Women
This initiative provides underprivileged women with sustainable income opportunities through the creation and sale of pet accessories under the brand “Be-desi.” These handmade products enable women to directly benefit from sales, with surplus profits supporting Project Desi, which focuses on animal welfare.
Project Desi: Protecting Paws & Communities
Project Desi addresses issues faced by stray dogs in India, including overpopulation, rabies, and aggression. Through the acronym “DESI” (Duty to Empathize, Sterilize, and Immunize), the project implements comprehensive sterilization, vaccination, and awareness campaigns in the Delhi-NCR region, successfully sterilizing and immunizing over 3,500 dogs.
Project Sneh: Embracing Sustainability
Project Sneh promotes environmental conservation by advocating for cloth diapers as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Crafted by skilled women from various NGOs, these diapers offer both sustainability and economic empowerment. Designed in collaboration with Streebal NGO, these reusable diapers prioritize leak protection and breathability, contributing to a cleaner future.
Project Prabhakshay: Renewable Energy from Waste
Dedicated to energy conservation and renewable resources, Project Prabhakshay creates eco-friendly solar lamps from discarded plastic items. These lamps provide income opportunities for seasonal electricians while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with global sustainability goals. Their innovative approach has earned them recognition, including a top 30 ranking in the Enactus World Cup’s Race 4 Climate Action.
Project Aapurti: Edible Cutlery for a Sustainable Future
Project Aapurti introduces 100% biodegradable edible alternatives to traditional cutlery, combating plastic pollution and promoting environmental conservation. By offering a sustainable and edible option, the project aims to make a lasting impact on both the environment and animal welfare.
