Navratan Korma

Navratan Korma Ingredients:
- Potato-1,
- Peas-1/4 cup,
- Beans-1/4 cup,
- Capsicum-1,
- Carrot-1,
- Tomato-1,
- Onion-1,
- Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp,
- Coconut milk-3/ 4 cups,
- Turmeric-1/2 tsp,
- Red Chili powder-1/2 tsp,
- Coriander powder-1 table spoon,
- Garam Masala-1 tsp,
- Ghee/oil-2 tsp,
- Salt-as per taste.
Navratan Korma Ingredients for Paste:
 Cashews- 8-10, Almonds- 8-10 and Melon seeds -1 tablespoon.
Navratan Korma Ingredients for Decoration:
- Pomegranate seeds 2 tbsp,
- Cashew nuts – 1 tbsp,
- Raisins – 1 tbsp,
- Ghee – 1 tbsp.
Navratan Korma Method of Preparation:
First of all, soak melon seeds, cashew nuts and almonds in water and keep them for half an hour. Peel the almonds. Now put all these ingredients in the mixer jar and grind it to prepare a paste. After this, cut potatoes, capsicum, carrots, tomatoes, onions and beans into small pieces.

Now add a cup of water and coconut milk. Next cover the pan and let the vegetable cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Keep stirring the vegetables in between. Now take a small pan and add ghee in it and heat it. Add cashews to it and fry it well and take it out in a plate. When the vegetable is completely cooked, turn off the gas and take out the vegetable in a big bowl. After this, decorate it with fried cashew nuts, raisins and pomegranate seeds. Serve Navratan Korma with Paratha, Naan or rice in lunch or dinner.
