Satnam: The Sole Support of the Universe
Introduction: Receiving a spiritual blessing is a unique and rare event in spiritualism. Only a divine power can achieve this spiritual status. Of course, he may spend his life in this mortal world like ordinary people, but the secret of that high spiritual power is revealed to the world at the right time and it is even more important to reveal it. Just as a burning lamp can light other lamps, similarly only a spiritual power can reveal another spiritual power. No ordinary man can do this holy work.
Only a Perfect Saint can recognize the manifest light of the Supreme Father in His form and reveal it to the world and only that Perfect Spiritual Saint can make the whole world aware of this unshakable truth. Adorable Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj attributed His words to Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj: “Thou will be designated as the Leader of the Living Master (Jindram), and the duty of bestowing the God’s Words to the masses will also be entrusted to Thee.”
Historic Day of 28 February:
Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj made this day of 28th February historic by making the Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj enthrone in front of the world. The Revered Sai Ji showed the world that the spiritual power of Dera Sacha Sauda will spread the name of the Supreme Power in the world and will make everyone chant the name of the Lord, inner Living Master.
Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj showered immense blessings on the Dera Sacha Sauda and all the spiritual followers, which made this day golden. Adding to the glory of this golden day, Revered Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan adorned this holy day of 28 February with the name of ‘MSG Maha Rehmo Karam Diwas’ (MSG Great Grace Day), which is celebrated with great pomp in the form of a spiritual grand celebration in Dera Sacha Sauda.
Unique Working of Spiritual Saints:
In fact, when a Perfect Saint creates such a spiritual game, it is not something ordinary that can be done quickly. Behind this is the long-term involvement of His tireless hard work, spiritual earning, farsightedness and inner journey. Means to say that when His infinite spiritual power is at its peak and the radiance of its joy is about to shine on the souls, then such games take birth from time to time. Such spiritual games of the Saint, the Spiritual Master are not understood by everyone. But with passage of time, when the secret of this spiritual secret is known to the world, everyone becomes His disciple.
Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj not only made Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj His successor but also declared the deep secret of ‘Satnam’, which no one had even thought of. No one knew that ‘Satnam’ is the name of which great personality and where is that ‘Satnam’ and what is our relationship with Him. When no one knew about that personality, then how was it possible to have His vision. But Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj made that divine power ‘Satnam’ sit in front of everyone and stated:
“Dear Devotees! This is the same ‘Satnam’ whom the whole world kept chanting, but no one had seen Him till date. We have brought Him after getting it approved by the holy orders of Sawan Shah Sai. This is the same ‘Satnam’ with whose sole support the universe is standing. He is the Supreme Master and He is everything. Whether someone believes in Him or not. But He is the Master of both the worlds. Everyone has to follow His holy orders. Now His holy orders will prevail.”
This miraculous incident of 28 February 1960 is a supernatural vision which thousands of people have seen being fulfilled in front of them. Shahenshah Mastana Ji made Param Pita Ji sit with Him on the stage and clearly disclosed to the world who is the divine personality that the Successor of Dera Sacha Sauda belongs to. Adorable Beparwah Ji made the world aware of the profound secrets of ‘Satnam.’
Sacred Life:
When a divine power is born on earth, that moment and that place shine with divine light. The souls bow down. They salute again and again. Everyone becomes indebted to that holy place and the adorable parents. Every head bows down in prostration. Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj was a resident of village Shri Jalalana Sahib, district Sirsa (Haryana). His Holiness incarnated on 25 January 1919. The name of Param Pita Ji’s respected mother was Adorable Mata Aas Kaur Ji and the name of His respected father was Sardar Wariyam Singh Ji Sidhu. He was a very big landlord and was known by the respected title of Zaildar in the whole region. Param Pita Ji was the only child of His high family and after a long wait of eighteen years, His Holiness took birth to His respected parents’ house.
He belonged to a high family and was the only child and that too was born after 18 years. It is impossible to describe in words the immense love that parents have for their child. The respectable parents named their child as Sardar Harbans Singh. But later Shahenshah Mastana Ji changed His name from ‘Harbans’ to ‘Satnam’. Although in the first name given by the parents, the Supreme Father had made them realize His divine form and filled them with spiritual happiness, which is not in everyone’s fate. When that divine power descends in the mortal world, then for a fixed time, He lives His life like ordinary people. There is a fixed and determined time for His manifestation in front of the world. Although blessed people definitely realize that divine power.
Though He may look like ordinary people because His every deed is of high standard, which proves to be an example and inspiration. Revealing that power in front of the world is also in the control of the same divine power. Just like a jeweler can tell us about diamonds, in the same way only the Master of high status can tell us about that power which He Himself knows. Because He Himself is the bottomless ocean of that divine power. Shahenshah Mastana Ji Himself was the Supreme Master of divine power. He had seen His divine form in the manifest form of Param Pita Ji. It was just left to show His divine form to the world. Shahenshah Ji chose 28th February as the day to reveal His divine form in front of the world and not only revealed it but also transformed ‘Harbans’ into ‘Satnam’ with full pomp and show.
A Special Task is to be Assigned to Thee:
Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj delivered a spiritual congregation at Ghukanwali Dera on 14th March 1954. After the spiritual congregation, standing on the same platform, Revered Beparwah Ji called Thee and said, “Harbans Singh Ji! It has been commanded to bless Thee with the God`s Words today; come inside & sit near Our seat, We are just coming there.” When His Holiness went inside, a lot of seekers of the God`s Words were sitting there & there was no place near the royal seat of the Revered Sai Ji.
Therefore, His Holiness sat in the last of the seekers of the God`s Words. The Revered Sai Ji came inside & called out the holy name of His Holiness & asked to sit near His royal seat. The Revered Sai Ji openly declared, “Thou are being blessed with the God`s Words while making Thee sit near the royal seat since a very special & specific task is to be entrusted to Thee. Thou will be designated as the Leader of the Living Master & the duty of bestowing the God`s Words to the masses will also be entrusted to Thee.”
In this way, the Revered Beparwah Ji blessed Thee with the priceless gift of the God’s Words by making Thee sit next to Him in Ghukanwali on 14 March 1954. The Revered Beparwah Ji once again clearly indicated to the world that Thou are the embodiment of God.
Leader of the Living Master:
Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj was conducting a spiritual congregation in the village of Kikaranwali in Rajasthan. Adorable Param Pita Ji had also gone to attend this spiritual congregation with His companion Sardar Makhan Singh. Although Param Pita Ji was initiated into the God’s Words (Guru Mantra) by Beparwah Ji after a long time, but Param Pita Ji used to go to almost every spiritual congregation, no matter how long the journey was and whether there was any vehicle or not.
Village Kikrawali, District Hanumangarh (Rajasthan) is quite far from village Shri Jalalana Sahib and at that time people used to come and go by camel and bullock carts or by walking. Beparwah Ji was very happy to see Param Pita Ji. It was winter season and Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was distributing warm clothes like sweaters, jerseys, blankets etc. among the devotees. Then Shahenshah Ji thought of giving some grand gift to Param Pita Ji as a mark of respect.
So, the Revered Sai Ji asked Sardar Makhan Singh who had come with Param Pita Ji, ‘Brother, when someone is made a leader among the Sikhs, what is presented to him?’ Makhan Singh told that on such occasions, a turban and a sword are often presented as a mark of respect. Shahenshah Mastana Ji specially ordered a beautiful turban and while presenting it to Param Pita Ji with respect, the Reveres Sai Ji stated, “We will make Thee the Leader of spirituality. The Spiritual Master has to assign a Special task to Thee.”
In this way the Revered Sai Ji selected Thee as His Heir and even though all this was in front of everyone, no one could understand this carefree spiritual secret that the Supreme Father is the Master of both the worlds. But He is among us in human form.
Strenuous Test:
The Revered Sai Ji started conducting test after test of His Holiness since the very first meeting. Following these spiritual tests, the Revered Sai Ji stayed at the Dera of Shri Jalalana Sahib for eighteen days. During that time the Revered Sai Ji got the building of Gadrana Dera demolished & sometimes the building of Chormar Dera was also demolished. On one hand different buildings of different Deras were being demolished, on the other hand it was ordered by the Revered Sai Ji that the building materials like wood, iron, doors, windows etc. be collected at Shri Jalalana Sahib. The Revered Sai Ji put the duty of His Holiness to carry the debris of the building of Gadrana Dera.
While the debris of the demolished buildings of different Deras was being carried, the Ghukanwali volunteers were asked to take away the already collected debris. His Holiness was still busy in transporting the debris of the demolished building of Gadrana Dera, the Revered Sai ji started the reconstruction work of the Gadrana Dera. An ordinary human being can`t understand this strange working of the Revered Spiritual Master. In fact, this divine working was a part of the strenuous test being conducted by the Revered Sai Ji.
His Holiness had already devoted & dedicated Himself to the holy service of the Revered Sai Ji. Therefore, His Holiness sincerely obeyed the holy words of the Revered Sai Ji. In this way, after conducting different arduous exercises & tests and finding His Holiness fully eligible, the Revered Sai Ji declared, “We conducted tests of Sardar Satnam Singh Ji & didn`t let His Holiness (Sardar Satnam Singh Ji) know.”
Yet Another Arduous Test:
One day the Revered Sai Ji ordered to demolish the mansion-like personal house of His Holiness & bring the demolished & all other related items of the mansion to Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa. Outwardly speaking, in worldly terms, it was a strenuous test but His Holiness didn`t care for the public prestige & obeyed every word of the Revered Sai Ji.
Acting upon the holy order of the Revered Sai Ji, His Holiness demolished His mansion with His own hands, carried many truck- loads of the building material & household items to Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa & placed the same in the presence of the Revered Sai Ji. It was the day of the monthly spiritual congregation. At Saturday midnight, the Revered Sai Ji came out. Looking at the huge pile of the goods, the Revered Sai Ji said, “Whose luggage is this? Take it out right now. If someone comes and asks, Mastana goes around demolishing people’s houses, what will be the answer? Whosoever has the goods, take care of your belongings yourself.”
It was cold winter & drizzle and cold waves were flowing from the above making the atmosphere extremely cold. His Holiness followed the holy orders of the Revered Sai Ji & spent the whole night in the open guarding His luggage. In the morning, His Holiness gave away all His belongings to the devotees & sat in the divine presence of the Revered Sai Ji.
Royal Announcement:
A royal slogan became the glory of that historic event when on 28th February 1960, Shahenshah Mastana Ji made Revered Param Pita Ji His successor and then a royal procession was taken out in the entire city of Sirsa. Shahenshah Mastana Ji made Param Pita Ji His successor in front of everyone and to present the same game in front of the whole world, this royal procession was organized. Shah Mastana Ji ordered everyone to join this procession and ordered everyone to say loudly that ‘listen to the announcement carefully, then talk to someone else’ so that people can be aware of this truth. Param Pita Ji adorned with royal attire and long garlands of new currency notes was sent in an open jeep.
The prominent volunteers were strictly instructed to go to every market, square and intersection and announce loudly that We have made Sardar Sahib of Shri Jalalana Sahib Our successor. As per the orders of the Revered Sai Ji, all the devotees became a part of this procession and roamed around the city all day and spread the word of this divine order.
On the return of the procession in the evening, the Revered Sai Ji Himself welcomed the Revered Param Pita Ji at the main gate outside the Dera. The Revered Sai Ji stated to the devotees present: “Brother! From today onwards, We have granted Sardar Satnam Singh Ji Our own Form. This is the same Satnam whose holy name the people of the world kept reciting throughout their lives. By holy approval of the Revered Sawan Shah Sai Ji, We have brought Shah Satnam Ji from the abodes above & placed His Holiness before all of you.”
After this, Revered Beparwah Ji Himself distributed blessed eatable with His holy hands to all the devotees who had participated in the procession.
A three-storey sacred house was got constructed specially for His Holiness. The building materials like bricks, wood, iron etc. of the mansion of the Revered Param Pita Ji have been used in the construction of this sacred house. The Revered Sai Ji Himself made His Holiness sit in the sacred house with His own hands. The Revered Sai Ji stated: ”This sacred house is granted to Sardar Satnam Singh Ji as a reward for His great sacrifice. Everyone does not deserve to live here.’’ The Revered Beparwah Ji further stated: ‘’Just as the masons have put three shutters in this building (Tera Vas) for its strength, similarly We have put three shutters to Sardar Satnam Singh Ji (gesturing with His holy hand). Come rains, thunder storms, neither His Holiness will be able to move nor anyone will be able to move His Holiness.’’
The Holy Ritual of Spiritual Coronation:
On February 28, 1960, according to the holy order of Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the royal stage was specially decorated. The Revered Beparwah Ji ordered the volunteers to bring Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj on the royal stage:
“Go brother, bring Sardar Satnam Singh Ji (The Revered Supreme Father) from the Tera Vas.’’ Hearing this, the two devotee-volunteers started walking towards the Tera Vas. The Revered Sai Ji stopped them stating, ‘’Not like this brother! At least ten devotee-volunteers should go together and bring the Revered Shah Satnam Ji on the stage with full hospitality & honour.” When the Revered Supreme Father came from the Tera Vas, the Revered Sai Ji enthroned the Revered Supreme Father on the royal stage with Himself. While addressing the spiritual followers, the Revered Sai Ji stated:
“Brother! From today onwards, We have granted Sardar Satnam Singh Ji Our own Form. This is the same Satnam whose holy name the people of the world kept reciting throughout their lives. By holy approval of the Revered Sawan Shah Sai Ji, We have brought Shah Satnam Ji from the abodes above & placed His Holiness before all of you. Whoever sees Him even behind His back will not go to hell. He will also save him by His mercy.” In this way, on 28 February 1960, Revered Beparwah Mastana Ji Maharaj enthroned the Revered Param Pita Ji on the Spiritual Seat as the second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda thereby handing over all His rights and Dera Sacha Sauda on the same day. The Revered Beparwah Sai Ji Himself remained present in physical form for about two months.
Now Everything Will be Operated by the Param Pita Ji:
Shahenshah Mastana Ji explained to people in every way and made them sure that Satnam Singh Ji is Our form. Trust Him more than Us and love Him more than Us. Making Param Pita Ji His successor, Shahenshah Ji would make Param Pita Ji sit with Him on the stage and whenever someone would request something, the Revered Sai Ji would say, “Now whatever has to be done, He (The Revered Param Pita Ji) has to do it. Our work is done. We are now free, whoever has to take whatever, take it from Him (Pram Pita Ji).
Have vision of ‘Satnam Ji’ only.” The Revered Sai Ji also told the devotees many times that We have given ‘Satnam’ to you. Stay in His holy command. Whoever stays in His command will get the desired results. Whoever does not obey will go to hell. Satguru Almighty gave Us such a handsome youth who is not there in the whole of India. Shahenshah Mastana Ji remained seated on the stage with Param Pita Ji for almost two months and made His supernatural game sure. Before merging with the Eternal Divine Light, Shah Mastana Ji went to Delhi on 16th April. There, the Revered Sai Ji stayed at the house of a devotee Sood Sahib. Another devotee Rakkha Ram came to have vision of the Revered Sai Ji and requested to the Revered Sai Ji:
Please visit my house and have langar-food. To this Shahenshah ji replied, ‘We will not eat langar! If you want to feed langar then take ‘Satnam Ji. Feed Him only. From now on also feed Him only.’ The conversation went on for some more time. As if ignoring the spiritual word, that devotee started requesting again that Sai Ji, please come to my house and have langar. To this Shahenshah Ji said with full enthusiasm, “Devotee! When We have given you ‘Satnam’ and are sending Him with you then what else do you need. He will eat langar. Whatever has to be done, He will do it from now on. Now He is everything.”
When the Shop Starts Operating, Then See:
Shahenshah Mastana Ji Maharaj spoke about Dera Sacha Sauda and the devotees in very clear and open words. The Revered Sai Ji warned the devotees that Shah Satnam Ji is Our own form and love Him with utmost faith. Follow His orders and enjoy the results of the selfless service. The Revered Sai Ji also explained about Dera Sacha Sauda in great detail so that no one is left with any difficulty in understanding it. Once, a devotee had a doubt regarding what will happen in Dera Sacha Sauda in future?
At that time, Shahenshah Mastana Ji was roaming in the congregation ground. He thought that he should talk about his doubt. He requested that Sai Ji, I have a thought in my mind but I am afraid whether to tell it to Thee or not. Shahenshah Ji took his name and said, Khema, what is the matter? Whatever you want to say, say it openly. He started saying that Sai Ji, what will happen in Dera Sacha Sauda after Thee! Shahenshah Ji said, Khema, We do not understand what you are saying. The Revered Sai Ji said, Khema, We did not understand what you said, tell Us again, what is it?
He again said, The Revered Sai Ji, I mean that a place of worship should not be made even in Dera Sacha Sauda where People come, bow their heads and leave with their wishes fulfilled. On hearing this, Shahenshah Ji said in a stern voice, ‘Khema! You have been living with Us for so many years. You did not understand anything. Do you consider Us as a human being? The Revered Sai Ji further explained, ‘’This Sacha Sauda has not been made like this, it was not made by any human being. It has been made by God Himself with His own hands on the holy orders of Our God-Himself Sawan Shah Sai Nirankar.
It will remain steadfast for ages. The power that Sawan Shah Ji granted Us, We have not spent even the least of it. That divine treasure is lying as it is. After Us, the Divine Power will run in an enhanced way and make everyone blessed. Right now, the shop of Sacha Sauda has opened. When We put goods in it, then see. Then notice, how will the shop of the God’s Words run. The name of Sacha Sauda will reverberate in the whole world. The name of the Lord will be heard in every corner.’ The Revered Sai Ji said about Param Pita Ji that Param Pita Ji is the Leader of the Living Master. He is the Supreme Master who will make the world recite the God’s Words.
Similarly, the Revered Sai Ji also stated about the third body that it will be the Divine Power of Ultimate Velocity. It will be such a great spiritual power that Sacha Sauda will be a huge center of spirituality in the whole world. Today, under the holy guidance of Present Spiritual Master Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Dera Sacha Sauda is touching the heights of spirituality and humanity. The whole world bows its head in front of the holy ideals of Dera Sacha Sauda.
Dera Sacha Sauda is a famous center of spirituality and the wave of social reform and human welfare that the Revered Guru Ji has initiated is an example in the world. When lakhs of people come together to render social welfare works under the holy presence of the Revered Guru Ji, the world is stunned. It is the divine grace of the Spiritual Master that there is such passion in the Spiritual followers that the volunteers do not care even about their own lives in saving someone’s life. Everyone is devoted and willing to sacrifice themselves for such grace of the Spiritual Master.
Dera Sacha Sauda at Great Heights:
Dera Sacha Sauda is famous all over the world for spirituality and human welfare works by virtue of the holy inspiration of Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Following the path of truth, crores of people (more than 07 Crore) have renounced the evils of intoxication, corruption, prostitution, etc. and are associated with the devotion of the Supreme Father. The name of Ram is discussed in every house. The poor and the afflicted are getting every possible support from the spiritual followers. The volunteers of Shah Satnam Green S Welfare Committee established by the Revered Guru Ji are engaged day and night in the welfare work of the entire society.
With the inspiration of the Revered Guru Ji, Dera Sacha Sauda’s ‘True Blood Pumps’ (blood donors) become angels for the needy and sick people like thalassemia patients and the injured and try to save their lives by donating their blood. These volunteers, the apple of the Spiritual Guide’s eye, feel blessed by helping the victims. At some places, mentally challenged people who were separated from their homes are being treated and reunited with their loved ones, at other places, entire houses are being built and given to needy families.
Following the holy teachings of the Revered Guru Ji, these volunteers are serving orphans and helpless elderly and children (parent service) with body, mind and money thereby proving to be their support by giving them food and drink. In this way, the spiritual followers are doing 167 human welfare works being run by the Revered Guru Ji. By adopting the ‘Depth Campaign’ launched by the Revered Guru Ji against drugs, today lakhs of youth of the country and abroad are connecting with the Supreme Power and giving up drugs and evils thereby becoming the support of their parents, family and society. This holy campaign of the Revered Guru Ji is also reaching every home, every village and city. The intellectual class of the country is praising this campaign wholeheartedly. In this way, under the holy guidance of the Revered Guru Ji, Dera Sacha Sauda is proving to be an angel for the poor and the miserable.
