Guhla Cheeka: Arrangements Made for Drinking Water and Green Fodder for Animals

In the flood affected villages of sub-division Guhla Cheeka, the Dera volunteers of three blocks Harigarh Kingan, Guhla and Cheeka provided unmatched service of drinking water and green fodder for animals. The volunteers delivered green fodder to village Bopur. At the same time, water tankers were sent to this village for six consecutive days. Akshay, Jasbir, Karnail, Birban, Deepak, Vishal, Sumit, Rajesh, Buta, Karan, Karma Balbehda, Jagbir, Raghuveer, Rangu, Raghuveer Piri cooperated in this service work. At the same time, 85 Members (male) Dhara Insan, Krishna Manas, Narendra Kund, 85 Member (female) Sister Reena, Sudesh, Anita etc. also continued to render their services.

Green S Volunteers Rescued 6 People Surrounded by Water

Six members were badly trapped in the water in a house built in the fields at a distance of about two and a half kilometers from village Sadharanpur (Badshahpur) Punjab. Four of these members were young children and two were elder members. 15 member Prem Singh Insan said that despite repeated calls to the administration, no officer reached the spot. On the other hand, the warriors of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing reached the spot, walked through the water and pulled out the trapped members safely with the help of ropes.

Dera Devotees Proved to be Angels: Lal Singh Insan Donated Several Acres of Green Fodder and Dry Fodder (Husk)

Many villages in Karnal district were in the grip of flood. The volunteers of block Bayana were continuously delivering ration, water, tea for the affected people and fodder for animals from door to door in tractor-trolleys. During this time, it was revealed that due to excessive water filling in the neighboring villages of Garhpur, Chandrao, Musepur, Garhi Birbal, Khark, Chauganwa, the fodder of the animals has also been ruined and the farmers are forced to keep the animals hungry.

As soon as he came to know about this, Lal Singh Rana Insan, husband of 85 Member Sister Renu Insan, resident of village Mukhla, donated several acres of green fodder growing in his fields and dry fodder kept in the house for the animals of the people trapped in the flood. Lal Singh Insan made an announcement in the flood affected neighboring village and distributed the green fodder growing in his field and the chaff kept in his house among the villagers. This humanitarian work of the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda was widely appreciated in the entire region.

Food Service Center Opened for Flood Victims

The warriors of Dera Sacha Sauda’s Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing started the facility of langar (food) for the people surrounded by floods. A ‘Food Service Centre’ was opened to provide free food to the flood victims by setting up a tent near MSG Dera Sacha Sauda & Manvta Bhalai Kendra (Naamcharcha Ghar) located in Moonak area of ​​Sangrur district, through which food was provided to the flood affected people all the time.

Baldev Krishna Insan a member of 85 Member Committee said that due to waterlogging, there was a huge lack of daily essentials for the people. For this reason, this free ‘Food Service Center’ was started by Dera Sacha Sauda, ​​where langar was served to the flood victims 24 hours. For this, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda were active in every flood affected area. Bread and vegetables were prepared at many places including Lehragaga.

 Langar, pulses, milk, biscuits, water, bread, were delivered to flood affected people while green fodder & chaff were provided for animals by the volunteers. The volunteers kept reaching these villages after wading through knee-deep water. A large number of people from the villages of Gobindgarh Jejia, Dharamgarh, Sunam, Laharagaga rendered their services in this relief work.
