Hard Work Leads to Success –Today every person wants to achieve success in his own field. In this age of competition, one has to struggle continuously to achieve success in every field. Only the one who achieves victory in the struggle gets happiness in life. The one who stands in queues and waits for his turn gets left behind.
Ever since man was born on this earth, his curiosity to gain knowledge, truth and happiness has not been satiated. Even now he is restless to gain happiness and prosperity. He collects the means of enjoyment and luxury. In today’s era of competition, every person wants to get ahead of each other and the doors of progress are also open in every field.
A person who gets success without hard work starts considering it as his fate. He says, happiness is written in my fate. My fate is good. Today I have everything that I should have. This is often heard.
A person makes his own destiny. God does not write good or bad destiny of any person. Man is the creator of destiny. A person is free to some extent to do his work & it is up to him that he makes or spoils his own destiny. If something good happens, he himself takes all the credit, if something bad happens, he starts blaming others. He starts blaming even God.
If a person gets success by hard work, he calls it karma. Shri Krishna Ji Maharaj has said in the Holy Gita that ‘Without hard work, every success is incomplete and dull. Man should do good deeds. A person gets results as per his deeds.”
Karma is an action in which a person acts according to his nature. Karma is the effort made to achieve a desire. Many people believe that fate and karma are two sides of the same coin which cannot be separated. A hardworking person makes the desert green, brings pearls from the sea, makes a path by cutting the mountains and a lazy person sits on the shore of the sea and waits. Therefore, being a human being, one should always keep doing human welfare works. The fate of those who do good to others improves.
By not doing work and crying about fate, one cannot achieve success in any work. When a mountain of sorrows breaks out in a man’s life, he takes refuge in yantra-mantra-tantra, exorcists or sorcerers and wastes his precious time and cries about his fate. Such lazy people always shirk work or get involved in wrong activities.
One should work after chanting the name of the Almighty, because it increases the working capacity of a person. His self-confidence increases, which makes the struggle easier. ‘Self-confidence is the key to success.’
A human being has control only over his actions. He can’t escape the results of his karma. If he does good deeds, he will get happiness and those who do bad deeds have to suffer. In life, bad deeds bring pains like hell and good deeds bring happiness like heaven. That is why one should remember God. Chanting the name of God gives so much strength that a person can pass through the days of sorrow and gets inspiration to do good deeds in future.
Our past deeds are the destiny of today. Today’s deeds will become tomorrow’s destiny. So, why not improve our future by doing good deeds.
