Experiences of the Devotees – The Child Didn’t Get Even the Slightest Scratch
Sachkhandwasi (Late) Kehar Singh Havaldar son of Shri Phumman Singh Ji, resident of village Pakka Kalan district Bhatinda (Punjab) describes the grace of Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj Ji on his family through a letter. This letter sent by him to the Dera Sacha Sauda in the name of the Revered Guru Ji was read out to the devotees in the holy presence of Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan in the year 1992, which is as follows:-
After taking initiation from Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, I used to do meditation every morning and evening. I would enjoy chanting the name of the Lord. The whole day I felt as if I were roaming around in ecstasy. A feeling of selfless love for all living beings had arisen in my heart. I also felt an increase in my spiritual strength, due to which I did not feel bad about anything said by anyone. I always felt like seeing the Creator of this whole universe. I would do meditation alone. Something similar happened that day too.
It was written in the letter that it was the summer of 1969. My son Gurcharan Singh was sleeping with me on the roof of the house. He was about five years old at that time. As per my habit, I woke up at a fixed time in the morning and started chanting the name of the Lord while sitting near the courtyard a little away from the child. My wife was sleeping in the courtyard below. It was quite dark at that time. Suddenly my son Gurcharan woke up from behind. He was frightened to see himself alone.
He started looking for us (i.e. his parents) all around. As soon as he stood near the parapet of the roof and started looking down, the weight of his body shifted forward and he fell down with a thud. When the sound of the child falling from above was heard, my wife was shocked to see him fall. She started shouting in anger and said to me loudly that the devotee is busy in meditation while the child is about to die. Hearing the noise of my wife, I came down and ran and picked up the child.
I touched all the body parts of the child and asked, Son! Where are you hurt? Where are you feeling pain? I was surprised when the child said, ‘Bapu Ji, when I fell, the Revered Father (Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj) picked me up in His holy hands before I could fall down.’ On asking, the child told me that the Revered Father was wearing white clothes and had a red cloth tied on His head. After listening to the entire conversation, I became extremely grateful to the Revered Father who takes care of His children. The surprising thing is that the child did not even have a scratch, even though the child fell from the roof into the paved courtyard.
Seeing this, tears came to my wife’s eyes too that we are humans who keep taunting every minute while the Revered Father who takes care of us every moment, still does not seek anything. We cannot repay the Revered Father for His immense benevolences. My wife also started apologizing to the Revered Father for speaking ill of me about meditation and said that because of him sitting for meditation, the Revered Father Himself has protected my son. From now on, I will not stop anyone from doing meditation, let alone him, and I myself will also do meditation as much as possible. It is the power of meditation due to which the Revered Spiritual Master averted the terrible karma of my child’s death in such a way that he did not even get a scratch.
The Revered Spiritual Master has preached that those who serve and meditate while remaining firm on His words, the Revered Spiritual Master Himself takes care of them and their families every moment. The Revered Supreme Father has Himself demonstrated these words. My only prayer at the holy feet of the Revered Father is that His blessings may always continue to shower upon all of us.
