Spring Fest 2025: IIT Kharagpur’s 66th Cultural Extravaganza Begins January 26
The annual socio-cultural festival of IIT Kharagpur, “Spring Fest”, is one of Asia’s largest student-organized festivals. A representative of the fest informed Sachi Shiksha that the 66th edition of this three-day festival, which boasts an online reach of over 2 million viewers, is scheduled to take place from January 26–28, 2025.

Hitchhike – The Nationwide Pre-Event
The festival’s preliminary phase, Hitchhike, was successfully held in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Chandigarh. This phase featured various competitions, including dance, drama, music, and fashion.
Regional Events
Selection rounds will now be conducted in Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Ranchi, Guwahati, and Raipur. Participants can register at

Wildfire – The Band Competition
