Special Presentation on Maha Rahmo-karam Divas (The Great Grace Day)
Leader of the Living Spiritual Master
28th February is a grand day full of heavenly grace for the spiritual followers of Dera Sacha Sauda. Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj revealed to the world Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj as His successor in Dera Sacha Sauda on this day and disclosed to the world the secret of the great power of ‘Satnam’. However, Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj had stated on 14 March 1954:
”Today, it has been commanded to bless Thee with special God`s Words; Thou are being blessed with the God`s Words while making Thee sit near the royal seat since a very special & specific task is to be entrusted to Thee. Thou will be designated as the leader of the Living Spiritual Master & the duty of bestowing the God`s Words to the masses will also be entrusted to Thee.”
But at that time the listeners did not get the distinction of this statement (the real truth) and the same thing happened as the Revered Beparwah Ji had stated. That is, the statement delivered by by Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj on 14 March 1954, came true on 28 February 1960. When Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana ji Maharaj declared the Revered Param Pita Ji the leader of the Living Spiritual Master with great pomp& installed the Revered Param Pita Ji as the second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda. There were endless celebrations and royal processions, for which a lot of preparations were already done.

Even from far and wide, the spiritual followers were called by sending a message. Necklaces of new currency notes were got prepared. A jeep was decorated very beautifully. Musicians, drummers were called specially.
The Sat Brahmachari Sevadars ( Sadhus or Sages) of Dera Sacha Sauda were dressed in new clothes on that day, as compared with their usual clothes with stitches. Royal clothes were made for the Revered Param Pita Ji. Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was engrossed in the preparation of this auspicious day. The Revered Sai Ji didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. Everything was done in a superlative manner according to the then available sources. The Revered Sai Ji was in His own spiritual spirit.
His godly glitter was making everyone radiant. All the spiritual followers present in the spiritual abode ( Dera Sacha Sauda ) were ordered to participate in a huge procession. There was only happiness and felicity everywhere. Revered Mastana Ji Maharaj was blessing everyone with His holy words and divine vision. His zealous & dominating presence was radiating frolic waves. The royal procession was finalized in His holy presence. All were ordered to attend the royal procession.
All the Sat Brahmchari Sevadars ( Sadhus) of the ashram ( spiritual abode ) were in a new get-up today. They were also specially ordered to attend this royal procession.Though the spiritual followers had come from far and wide, but when the message of this royal procession reached the people living in the nearby area, they too reached there to be a witness to this auspicious occasion.
Many might not even have come to know about this supernatural game of Revered Mastana Ji Maharaj. Only a few people thought that the Revered Sai Ji is creating a unique game today. It was a unique game for them, but in reality, the Revered Beparwah Ji, was proclaiming Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj as His spiritual successor.
The Revered Beparwah Ji gathered all the spiritual followers. A beautiful chair was placed in a beautifully decorated open roof jeep. All the spiritual followers were beholding this godly sight. There was a vibe in them. Their curiosity was at its peak that the Revered Beparwah Ji is definitely going to show a unique marvel today. Such was the inner state of those who were unaware of this reality.
After the chair was decorated, Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj called Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, wore long necklaces of new currency notes from head to toe and enthroned on a chair decorated in the jeep. After that Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj stated to the spiritual followers accompanying the royal procession:
“Sardar Satnam Singh (Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj) is very brave. His Holiness has obeyed every order of the Poor Mastana. The more We praise, the less it is. His Holiness has made tremendous sacrifices for Us. We have made Him Our successor & God-Himself. Go and proclaim in every street & every colony of this city that His Holiness ( Revered Shah Satnam Singh Ji ) has sacrificed a lot for the Poor Mastana and now, His Holiness is the successor of Dera Sacha Sauda. Everybody should come to know that Sardar Harbans Singh (Jaildar of Shri Jalalana Sahib) has become Sardar Satnam Singh Ji (Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj) from today and has become Absolute Spiritual Master.”

Wonderful Sight of Godly Spirit:
The Revered Sai Ji ordered to proceed the royal procession towards the city of Sirsa along with the drum & band party. The entire gathering was marching towards the city. Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj was sitting on a chair decorated in a jeep. Dressed in royal robes and long necklaces of currency notes from head to toe around the neck were adding to the beauty. This royal procession passed through every street, neighborhood and square of the city of Sirsa for the whole day.
A large number of spiritual followers were walking along with the Revered Supreme Father and, raising the holy slogan ( Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra ) at high pitch thereby proclaiming this supernatural game to people of the city . Everyone was illuminated with the glimpse of this supernatural godly form of the Revered Supreme Father. Wherever this royal procession passed, people would be curious to see. The city residents had never seen such a sight of celebration full of fervour.
Historical Moments of Spiritual Coronation:
In fact, this unmatched royal procession was adding new colors to spirituality. People were beholding this ritual of the spiritual coronation for the first time. The whole city came to see this rare sight. This royal ritual was the talk of the town. To see these wonderful sights, people were cruising like black bees from far and wide. This royal procession, engulfing the whole city with its spiritual charm, returned to Shah Mastana ji Dham at about four o’clock in the evening. Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the creator of this supernatural game, was also waiting.
The Revered Beparwah Ji blessed all the spiritual followers with immense happiness who accompanied the Revered Supreme Father during the royal procession. The Revered Sai Ji was very happy to see this holy procession. The Revered Sai Ji was overflowing with joy by revealing His spiritual successor the Revered Shah Satnam Ji to the world. The brightness of His cheerful & happy face was filling everyone with joy and enthusiasm.
Six years ago i.e. in 1954, Revered Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj had pronounced the great personality to be the leader of the Living Spiritual Master, today the Revered Sai Ji was looking immensely happy & contented after completing that great task. Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj looked happy and unconcerned by the splendid execution & completion of the royal procession of His Successor, just as a father looks carefree and contented after the marriage his daughter. This blessed time proved to be a historical precedent.
The Holy Ritual of Spiritual Coronation:
Many old spiritual followers who had witnessed this auspicious occasion are still carrying this sight in their hearts. It is such a sight recorded in spirituality that on the holy occasion of spiritual coronation, the whole city came together to be a part of this great event.
When the royal procession arrived at the spiritual abode , the Revered Supreme Father was taken by the Revered Beparwah Ji to the Tera Vas ( Sacred House of the Revered Sai Ji ). This Anami Gufa ( Sacred House ) has been specially made for the Revered Supreme Father. After that, the Revered Sai Ji conducted a spiritual Majlis. After seating on the royal stage in the spiritual Majlis, the Revered Beparwah Ji, ordered to bring Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj on the royal stage:
“Go brother, bring Sardar Satnam Singh (The Revered Supreme Father) from the Tera Vas. Hearing this, the two devotee-volunteers started walking towards the Tera Vas . The Revered Sai Ji stopped them that it was not like this brother, ten devotee-volunteers should go together and bring the Revered Shah Satnam Ji to Us with full hospitality & honour.” When the Revered Supreme Father came from the Tera Vas, the Revered Sai Ji enthroned the Revered Supreme Father on the royal stage with Himself.
By putting a long necklace of new currency notes around the neck of the Revered Supreme Father, the Revered Sai Ji convinced the spiritual followers that now Our successor is Sardar Satnam Singh Ji. The congregation ground was packed with the spiritual followers. The spiritual followers were saving this rare supernatural sight in their memory. This was the reason to gaze at the two Radiant Forms of the Spiritual Master together. The Revered Beparwah Ji was handing over all His power and all the responsibilities of Dera Sacha Sauda to the Revered Supreme Father.
Satnam is the Supreme Power:
Blessed were the people who were getting eternal happiness by having the glimpse of this auspicious moment. Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was very enthusiastic and cheerful. The Revered Beparwah Ji was blessing the devotees with His holy words. While addressing the the spiritual followers, the Revered Sai Ji stated:
“Brother, From today onwards, We have granted Sardar Satnam Singh Ji Our own Form. This is the same Satnam whose holy name the people of the world kept reciting throughout their lives. By holy approval of the Revered Sawan Shah Sai Ji, We have brought Shah Satnam Ji from the abodes above & placed His Holiness before all of you.”
In this way, the Revered Beparwah Ji, by stating these unalterable words, made Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj the leader of the Living Spiritual Master, and the second Spiritual Master thereby handing over all the rights of Dera Sacha Sauda to the Revered Supreme Father. In this way, on 28 February 1960, after handing over the spiritual throne to the Revered Supreme Father, the Revered Sai Ji, while alerting the spiritual followers, also stated: “ Hundreds of people want to be enthrones as the Spiritual Master ( Guru) here after Us. All are warned to vigilant & careful.
Everyone should follow the holy words of the Spiritual Master scrupulously, otherwise he is likely to punished & destined to the Hell. One may believe or not. We have transformed Shah Satnam Ji into Absolute Spiritual Master. Whoever follows His holy words, will be blessed, otherwise he will go to the Hell.”
Elegance of Maha Rahmokaram Divas (The Great Grace Day):
Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, with His true & sweet words, enthroned Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj as the second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda on 28 February 1960. This holy day is an unforgettable mark in the history of Dera Sacha Sauda. This day is full of respect & honour for the crores of devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda. The spiritual followers can never forget this auspicious day.
Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, commemorating the sanctity of this auspicious day, ordered to celebrate this day as ‘Maha Rahmokaram Divas’ ( The Great Grace Day) in Dera Sacha Sauda. This holy day is the day to bring happiness like the grand celebration every year.
Brief Glimpse of Sacred Life:
Revered Param Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj hailed from the village Shri Jalal Aana Sahib Tehsil Dabwali District Sirsa. The Revered Param Pita Ji incarnated on 25 January 1919, about eighteen years after their marriage to the holy pelvis of the adorable mother Aas Kaur Ji, at the house of adorable father Zaildar Sardar Variam Singh Ji. His Holiness belonged to Sidhu dynasty.
His Holineass was the owner of huge property. His Holiness was the only Child of His parents. The adorable parents had named His Holiness as Sardar Harbas Singh Ji, but Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj changed Thy name to Sardar Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, keeping in view His great sacrifice for the Spiritual Master. By virtue of the sacred rites & values of the adorable parents, His Holiness was associated with devotion to God since childhood
Meeting with Revered Shah Mastana Ji:
His Holiness approached many sages & spiritual leaders, heard their sermons in order to recognize a Perfect Spiritual Guide. Whenever His Holiness met the sages and spiritual leaders, verified & tested them but the desired purpose of finding the way to Ultimate Truth was not fulfilled. His Holiness was constantly searching for the truth. Once upon a time, His Holiness attended the spiritual congregation conducted by Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. From what His Holiness has heard about the Revered Sai Ji & Dera Sacha Sauda, after attending the spiritual congregation conducted by the Revered Sai ji & examining every truth, His Holiness devoted Himself solely to the Revered Sai Ji there & then.
Initiation into the God`s Words:
His Holiness kept attending the spiritual congregation for three years & tried many a time to get initiated into the God`s Words but every time the Revered Sai Ji would say that “ Thou has not yet been commanded to be blessed with the God`s Words. We will call out Thy name at the right time & bless Thee with the God`s Words, till then keep attending the spiritual congregation. The Negative Power won`t do anything untoward to Thee.”
Most Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj conducted a spiritual congregation on March 14, 1954 at ‘Dera Sacha Sauda Anami Dham’ of village Ghunkawali. After the spiritual congregation, His Holiness was personally called by the Revered Sai Ji. “ It has been commanded to bless His Holiness with the God`s Words today; come inside & sit near Our seat, We are just coming there.” When His Holiness ( Thou) went inside, a lot of seekers of the God`s Words were sitting there & there was no place near the royal seat of the Revered Sai Ji. Therefore, His Holiness sat in the last of the seekers of the God`s Words .
The Revered Sai Ji came inside & called out the holy name of His Holiness & asked to sit near His royal seat. The Revered Sai Ji openly declared, “ Thou are being blessed with the God`s Words while making Thee sit near the royal seat since a very special & specific task is to be entrusted to His Holiness. His Holiness will be designated as the leader of the Living Spiritual Master & the duty of bestowing the God`s Words to the masses will also be entrusted to Thee.” On this pretext, the Revered Sai Ji declared His Holiness as His Spiritual Successor in a way, but no one understood this truth.
Installation as Spiritual Guide:
The Revered Beparwah Ji conducted strenuous test of His Holiness. His Holiness got His mansion-like house demolished. His Holiness sincerely obeyed the holy words of the Revered Sai Ji. In this way, after conducting different arduous exercises & tests and finding Thee fully eligible, the Revered Sai Ji enthroned Thee as the second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha sauda on February 28, 1960.
Initiating Seekers into the God`s Words
His Holiness started initiating the seekers into the God`s Words on 18 April 1963 on the auspicious occasion of 3rd Incarnation Day Grand Celebration ( Bhandara ) of Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. From 18 April 1963 to 26 August 1990, His Holiness initiated 11 lakh 8 thousand 429 people into the God`s Words thereby granting salvation to their souls.
Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan as a Spiritual Successor:
His Holiness Param Pita Ji declared Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan as His spiritual successor on 23rd September 1990 and enthroned as third Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda . The Revered Param Pita Ji remained present for about 15 months among the spiritual followers along with the Revered Present Spiritual Master. The Revered Param Pita Ji merged with Eternal Divine Light on 13th December 1991.
Literary Composition:
Apart from being a great scholar of Punjabi and Hindi languages, His Holiness was also well versed in Urdu language. His Holiness composed many holy great works, which are available in Hindi and Punjabi languages. ‘Bande Se Rab’ ( Man to God), the first and second part published in Hindi and Punjabi language is great works. ‘ Sachkhand Ki Sadak‘ (The Road to the Eternal Abode ) first & second part is yet another priceless creation of His Holiness in Hindi and Punjabi languages.
Apart from this, ‘ Satlok Ka Sandesh‘ ( The Message of the Eternal Abode ), Hindi and ‘Sachkhand Da Sandesha (Punjabi) are the texts of hundreds of (about 1400) hymns in eight parts and many more compositions are available which motivate people to walk on the path of religion and truth.
Construction of Spiritual Abode ( Ashram ):
During His lifetime, His Holiness took care of twenty three different spiritual abodes ( Ashrams ) established by Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and got their expansion done. Under His holy guidance, His Holiness established Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram Barnawa District Baghpat in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which has been named ‘Shah Satnam Ji Ashram Barnawa‘ by Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Through the establishment of this ashram, the Revered Supreme Father has done another great favor to the spiritual followers of that area.
Dera Sacha Sauda- A Unique Example in the World:
The little spiritual sapling of Dera Sacha Sauda which was planted by Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, Revered Supreme Father Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj irrigated with His tireless efforts of 30-31 years & developed it into the most the beautiful garden of spirituality. Today, under the able guidance of Revered Present Spiritual Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, this garden of spiritualism is imparting spiritual & humanitarian lesson to the whole world thereby showing the path of truth.
