- Dera Sacha Sauda’s New Initiative in the Field of Blood Donation
- Teams to Serve in India and Abroad
For children suffering from thalassaemia across the world, Dera Sacha Sauda has emerged as a new ray of hope. On World Blood Donor Day (14 June), Revered Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan appealed to the devotees and launched a special campaign to ensure the regular availability of blood for thalassaemia patients, not only in India but also abroad.
As part of this new blood donation initiative, Revered Guru Ji launched the website https://saintdrmsginsan.me/blood-donor-register/, where volunteers can register themselves as regular blood donors. This initiative by Dera Sacha Sauda has ushered in a new revolution in the field of blood donation. Dera followers have responded with great enthusiasm, and people are actively registering to become a part of this noble humanitarian service.
On the same day (14 June), the congregation also organised special blood donation camps at the MSG Dera Sacha Sauda & Manavta Bhalai Kendra, Shah Satnam Ji Nurani Dham, Patiala (Punjab), and at the Pujya Bapu Magghar Singh Ji International Blood Centre, established at Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospitals, Sirsa.
“Serve Humanity Through Regular Blood Donation”: Revered Guru Ji
Revered Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan described blood donation as one of the greatest services to humanity. Revered Guru Ji said that patients suffering from thalassaemia require regular blood transfusions throughout their lives.
Many patients and their families face serious difficulties when blood is not available on time. Through this initiative, the congregation of Dera Sacha Sauda will stand by such patients and help ensure that blood is made available promptly whenever needed.
