The rainy season is no less than a festival for young children. The rainy season makes nature’s climate intoxicating. This is the reason why everyone eagerly waits for this season.

80 percent of the annual rainfall in the country occurs due to Sawan-Monsoon. And when it is less, drought conditions arise because 50% of the country’s agriculture is dependent on the monsoon, which is a major part of the country’s economy. Monsoon contributes 20% to the country’s GDP. Monsoon brings greenery in the country. It is a symbol of the prosperity of the people. Groups of floating clouds look very dear. The black clouds force the peacock to dance. People of all age groups celebrate by getting drenched in the cool showers.

Pleasant Season:
Rainy season means rain. This season is very pleasant. When there are heavy rains in the sky, the atmosphere becomes very attractive and pleasant at that time. The rainy season is relaxing for every class. When rain drops fall on the earth, a pleasant atmosphere is created everywhere.
Precautions to be Taken:
In such a season, along with happiness, rain water also becomes a problem in many places, due to which there is a danger of spreading disease. That’s why it is also very important to take care of your health in this season. So, let us know what precautions should be taken in this season according to Ayurveda:-
Vaat Dosha:
The digestive fire is weak during the rainy season. Vata dosha (The Ayurvedic mind-body element associated with air & space) accumulates in the body throughout the summer & spoils the fire, which also affects the power of digestion. When the doshas become imbalanced, it causes various abdominal problems such as diarrhea and dysentery. The Ayurveda advises to adopt Varsha Ritucharya to avoid the bad effects of changes in the environment during the rainy season.
- Do not sleep during the day, as this slows down digestion and weakens the digestive system, which is already weak during this season due to vitiated vata.
- Avoid walking on wet surfaces and keep your feet dry.
- Burn a handful of dry neem leaves in the house and inhale its smoke. With this, you will get rid of harmful insects hidden in your house.
- Drink hot water, preferably boiling water with a pinch of ginger powder added to it.
- If you are drenched, drink a cup of ginger, mint or basil-ginger tea. This will give you warmth and keep you away from asthma, cough and cold.
- Avoid eating salads, raw, uncooked and leafy vegetables during this season.
- Eat a small piece of ginger with rock salt before eating.
- Boil water and then cool it and drink it.
- Avoid late digestible diet.

We all love the rains, but this is one season in which you need to take care of yourself the most. Whether it is school or home, the more you take care of cleaning and eating in the rainy season, the more fun you will be able to have.

Avoid Stagnant Water:
When it rains, water fills everywhere. Small lakes are formed everywhere outside the houses, in the potholes of the road and you enjoy boating or splashing in the filled water. But keep in mind that this filled water is very dangerous. Mosquitoes thrive in this rain water and whose bite causes dangerous diseases like malaria & dengue. And more horrible thing is that this water is very dirty. All the dirt of the road and even gutter water sometimes gets mixed in this water, and this can also lead to many diseases.
Homemade Food is the Best:
You all would like to eat spicy food outside, but in the rainy season, eat food made by mother’s hand at home. In the rainy season, most of the people fall ill after eating outside food. Whatever food you want to eat, get it made by your mother at home, because eating outside food means inviting diseases like typhoid to you.
No Fun Without Milk:
You all must be feeling cold after rain and the best way to get rid of this cold is to drink a glass of warm milk every morning and night. If at any time during the day you get wet in the rain, and after coming home, first change your clothes and then drink a glass of warm milk mixed with a little turmeric, it will keep you away from cold and cough.
