Experiences of Devotees Grace of Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj

A Disciple’s Devotion and the True Master’s Divine Protection

“The entire family prayed together to Revered Param Pita Ji, ‘Pita Ji, send Dr. Ram Singh home as soon as possible. Our child is suffering due to burns.’ As soon as our prayer reached Revered Param Pita Ji, His Holiness sent you back home.”

Dr. Ram Singh Insan, son of Shri Indraraj Singh, resident of Baraut, district Baghpat, describes the grace of Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj:

“I received initiation into Naam (Name of the Lord) from Param Pita Ji in 1970. I used to visit Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa every month for attending spiritual congregation. In 1975, I requested Revered Param Pita Ji, ‘Pita Ji, please hold a Satsang in our Uttar Pradesh as well.’ Param Pita Ji called Rohtash Singh Randhi to Him and asked where in UP the Satsang should be held. Meanwhile, I requested, ‘Pita Ji, Kishanpur Baral is the village of Randhi Ji, please hold the Satsang there.’ Randhi Ji agreed, saying it was fine and could be held there. Thus, the Satsang at Kishanpur Baral was approved.

To take the spiritual community (spiritual followers) from Baraut to Baral, I along with the spiritual followers arranged a bus and five horse-carts, and made announcements that travel and food would be free. A large number of people from Baraut attended that Satsang, and almost everyone received initiation into Naam. After that, a lot of spiritual followers from Baraut started coming to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa every month to attend spiritual congregation.

This incident happened in 1979. I had come to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa along with the spiritual followers of Baraut. The Satsang program was going on, and Param Pita Ji was seated on the stage. I was sitting behind the devotional singers (kavirajs). Devotional Singer Dalip Singh Ji was singing hymns (shabad). In between the hymn, Revered Param Pita Ji stopped him and said, ‘Sing this:

Dr. Ram Singh has to leave right now and take care of his hospital.’ Dalip Singh sang those exact words along with the musical instruments. Param Pita Ji then commanded me, ‘Son, go to Baraut right now!’ Revered Param Pita Ji gave me prasad (blessed sweets) and sent me off to Baraut. I could not understand what was happening or why I was being sent to Baraut as per the command of Revered Param Pita Ji.

I reached Sirsa city from the Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. At that moment, a car pulled up near me. The driver asked me, ‘Do you want to go to Delhi?’ I said yes. Through that vehicle, I reached Delhi, and then Baraut (U.P.). When I reached home, I saw many people gathered at my house.

A boy’s crying voice was coming from inside. When I looked, it was my nephew Raju. The family informed me that yesterday his legs got severely burnt. They had taken him to doctors, but no one treated him. They have advised to take him to Delhi or Meerut, as they had no treatment for burn injuries. The family also did not have enough means to get him treated at a big hospital.

I raised the holy slogan ‘Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra’ and started the treatment. First, I gave him an injection, then started an IV drip, and applied ointment and bandages. I told all family members to sit together, pray for him, and recite God’s Words. Then I told everyone that Revered Param Pita Ji sent me home right in the middle of the Satsang. Everyone expressed gratitude to the Spiritual Master and told me that the entire family had together prayed to Revered Param Pita Ji, ‘Pita Ji, send Dr. Ram Singh home as soon as possible. Our child is suffering due to burns.’ As soon as our prayer reached Revered Param Pita Ji, His Holiness sent you back home.

Such grace of Satguru can never be repaid. That boy Raju Insan is currently a volunteer in the electricity committee at Dera Sacha Sauda, Barnawa. Dr. Ram Singh used to serve by giving medicine to patients during Satsang at Dera Sacha Sauda, Barnawa. Having completed his worldly journey, he has departed for his heavenly abode.
