Editorial: Give the Reins to Your Guru
Spirituality and Sufism originate with true spiritual saints, pirs, and fakirs and remain closely associated with them. Their sacred teachings reveal that spirituality is filled with countless divine mysteries and extraordinary spiritual experiences that steadfast believers and practitioners perceive within themselves through the eyes of their souls during their daily meditation.
Whenever these steadfast believers share their experiences in the pure and sacred presence of their Guru, Murshid-e-Kamil, with fellow devotees, everyone is left astonished and profoundly grateful to their Satguru. In contrast, those who follow only their own will and desires remain entangled within themselves.
They engage in endless arguments and debates based solely on their intellect. This is the fate of most people. They wish to achieve everything through their own strength and intelligence. They believe that they can reach great heights through their cleverness alone.
However, those who walk the path of spirituality understand that where human intellect fails, the divine grace of the Satguru begins. A disciple moves forward only with the support of the Satguru. Strong faith in the Satguru makes every path smooth. Whenever a person connects with that divine spiritual power, no sorrow or grief can disturb that person. Everything is left in the care of the Satguru.
Regarding this, the Revered Present Guru of Dera Sacha Sauda, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, explained this truth in very simple words:
“He is the Supreme Father—God, Allah, Ram, Waheguru; you may call Him by any name. He has countless names, but He is One. That Master, in the form of a Guru, Pir, or Fakir, continues to bless His steadfast and beloved soul. According to the soul’s true yearning, He grants the soul His darshan (divine vision) and showers the soul with His boundless blessings.”
It is clear that if a soul possesses firm and unwavering faith in its Master, that soul will never lack any kind of happiness, whether internal or external, because the Master Himself takes charge of all the soul’s affairs. This is why spirituality places the highest importance on firm faith and steadfast belief. When a devotee entrusts the reins of life to the Master, every destination becomes easier to reach. This is the true step towards success in spirituality.
