 Fruits are a great source of optimizing whole health and declining the threat of diseases. Fruits are the best sources of vitamins, minerals and they are also rich in fibres.

Moreover, they provide various antioxidants, including flavonoids which are excellent for our body. Therefore, eating fruits daily can decline an individual’s risk of developing cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, inflammation etc. This article will discuss the importance of fruits.

Regularly eating  of fruits decreases the threat of developing diseases. Fruits also regulate our blood pressure& reduce the danger of cancer development. Fruits also make our muscles and bones stronger. Some fruits are highly rich in water content, and they keep the body hydrated. Fruits contain antioxidants that fight free radicals that damage our body cells. Fruits are rich in fibre, and they decline blood cholesterol levels that are ultimately lessening the probability of heart diseases.

Fibre keeps our bowel healthy and prevents issues such as diverticulosis, haemorrhoids as well as constipation. Fruits are low in calories and high in fibre, and hence they are a crucial part of a weight loss diet as they make one feel full for a longer duration of time. They also regulate blood sugar and help in avoiding junk food.

It is rich in vitamin C and many other antioxidants, which are vital for the human body because they fight with free radicals, which can cause harmful diseases like cancer. Strawberries are red and juicy fruit that has excellent water content. Seeds of strawberry offer various dietary vitamins and minerals. They have anthocyanins which boost heart health. They also contain quercetin named flavonoid, which is an anti-inflammatory compound.

 Oranges are around and citrus fruit that ate highly rich in vitamins and minerals. They are the best source of vitamin C which is an excellent antioxidant for the body. Vitamin C is also crucial for the functioning of the immune system as it assists the body in absorbing iron from plant-based food products. In addition, oranges have a high amount of pectin, a fibre that keeps the healthy colon binding with cancer-causing chemicals and removing them from the colon.  Grapefruit are red, pink or white sour fruits rich in vitamins and minerals. In addition, grapefruit contains flavanoids that fight against obesity, cancer and inflammation. They also have furanocoumarins that possess anti-cancer properties that protect the body against tumours, oxidative stress, breast cancer, leukaemia, and skin cancer.

Blackberries are berries rich in anthocyanins. They also contain seeds and are rich in fibre. They improvise heart as well as gut health. Apples are the best fruits for diet, and their layer of skin has numerous health benefits. They are fibrous, promote weight loss and boost heart health. They also contain pectin which helps in the maintenance of good gut health. Pomegranate is a fruit that is considered to be a superfood.

It is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants, which assist in combating oxidative stress that can cause diseases in the human body.
